Susan Alexy

Susan Alexy, 95, of Washington, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the Washington Hospital.

She was born March 17,1930, in Washington, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Sasko Reboich.

On January 8, 1955, she married Henry E. Alexy, who passed away on September 25, 2021.

Susan attended Chartiers-Houston Schools.

She went on to work in the Hazel Atlas Glass Factory for eight years.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church - St. Oscar Romero Parish in Meadowlands.

Susan loved her time with her family, as well as sewing and cooking, working on puzzle books, and watching soap operas.

Surviving are her son Edward Paul Alexy (Beth Grabiak Alexy), daughters Debra Ann Alexy and Rebecca Sue Palfreyman (Brian Lee Palfreyman); grandchildren Brianna Palfreyman, Brittany Palfreyman, and Nathan Alexy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are sisters Ann Przystup and Katherine Mruk.

Family and friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in William G. Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 on Thursday, May 1, 2025 in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, St. Oscar Romero Parish, 300 Pike Street, Meadowlands with Rev. John “Jay” Donahue as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
