Thomas D Varner

Thomas “Tom” D. Varner 63 of Claysville passed away on January 11, 2018 in The Washington Hospital. He was born February 26, 1954 in Washington a son of Laura Adams Varner of Washington and the late Kenneth Varner. Tom was a 1972 graduate of Trinity High School. He was an Electrician for over 30 years at Washington Steel Tom coached little league baseball in Prosperity, and met with his coffee club daily at Eat n’ Park. He was a people person who loved to socialize and spend time with family and friends. On June 13, 1974 he married Terry L. Hughes who survives. Also surviving a daughter Lori Varner of Washington; son Thomas D. Varner of Washington; grandchildren Brian McClain, Nathan Harris, Dorian Harris; five siblings, and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements in the care of William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue Washington, PA 15301. A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018, from 1 to 2 p.m., the time of services in East Finley Park, with Rev. Meade Lacock officiating.  A picnic lunch will follow the service.
