Wanda Beatty Boyce

Wanda Beatty Boyce, 83, of Washington, died on March 1, 2021. She was born on January 13, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of the late Walter C. and Elsie Clemens Beatty. Mrs. Boyce was a member of the Washington Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church. Wanda enjoyed growing her beautiful roses, and loved painting, having won many ribbons at the fair. In 1972, she married John “Norman” Boyce, who died on October 14, 2019. Surviving are two sons, James R. (Lesa) Hixenbaugh, and Dean Hixenbaugh; a sister, Mary Hanlon; four grandchildren, Jessica L. Northcraft, James R. Hixenbaugh III, Jennifer (Jesse) Sowers, and Deena Hixenbaugh, nine great grandchildren; and her caregiver, Mercedes. Deceased are two brothers, Walter and Frank Beatty. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA.
