William Patrick "Pat" Cavanaugh

William Patrick “Pat” Cavanaugh, 67, of Washington, passed away on Friday, November 28th, 2025, at his residence.

He was born March 31, 1958, in Washington, a son of the late William and Ella (Courtwright) Cavanaugh.

Pat leaves behind his beloved companion of over 30 years Sally Levers; daughters, Wally (Randy) Janicki and Shelby (Brent) Samson; son, Wesley (Stacy Schlegel) Levers; “Poppy” to Dalton and Logan Janicki, Bryce, Sophia and Sloan Samson, and Wesley and Cora Levers; brothers, Michael and K.J. Cavanaugh; sister, Susan Marie Lucero (Kenny); nieces, Missy Bochter (Bobby) and Tiffany Lucero; nephew, Nic Cavanaugh (Kaitlyn); and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pat was a graduate of the 1977 Class of Immaculate Conception High School. He worked as a Custodian for the McGuffey School District.

Pat was a Life Member of the Arms Club and the Keystone Club, as well as a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post #175.

He was a great Pittsburgh sports fan, loving the Steelers and Penguins, as well as Duke Basketball. He enjoyed many years of camping and quad riding at Four Seasons Resort.

Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Funeral Home where a service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Dutton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
