Zeta Carol Shrontz

Zeta Carol Shrontz, 82, of Washington, died on July 17, 2022, in Washington Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1939, in Laboratory, a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Olive Williams Shrontz. A member of Wolfdale Bible Chapel, Zeta volunteered at ARS of Washington and Greene Counties. Zeta was a very social and outgoing person who loved to be around people. She enjoyed church, dancing, going to the beauty shop to get her hair done, and spending time with friends and family. She loved her ARS staff. They loved and cared for her for over twenty years. Surviving are a brother, William B. (Sandra) Shrontz; a sister, Debra K. Shrontz Burt; a sister-in-law, Frances Shrontz; a cousin, Marie Carson; as well as many nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, Thomas Richard Shrontz; and a sister, Virginia Coffield. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2022, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
