John Grosley, Jr.

John Grosley, Jr., 67, of Washington, died Thursday, December 24, 2010, in Donnell House, following a lengthy illness. He was born July 20, 1943, in New Eagle, a son of John Grosley, Sr. and Mary Ann Garber Grosley. He was a self-employed carpenter in home remodeling for thirty years. Mr. Grosley was a member of Pulaski Club and Slovak Club. He was a special person and enjoyed doing handy work and watching television, especially wrestling. On November 7, 1964, he married Bonnie Horne, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Scott Grosley, and a daughter, Shelly (Daryl) Ranegar, both of Washington; a grandson, Zachary, and two step-grandchildren, Justin and Miranda Ranegar. Deceased are four sisters, Mary May, Kathy, Margie, and Jerry. Services and interment were private. Arrangements were by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
