Lisa Lee Unruh, 40, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 3, 2011.
She was born on February 18, 1971, in Belleville, IL, a daughter of David Favre, of Mascoutah, IL and Connie Van Hooser, of Canonsburg.
Mrs. Unruh had worked as a certified medical assistant for 18 years, 10 of which were at St. Clair Hospital.
She was very active in scrapbooking and photography, and enjoyed watching movies, going to the casino and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Unruh was a devoted autism advocate, and was heavily involved in children’s education.
On August 22, 1992, she married Michael Unruh, who survives.
Also surviving, in addition to her parents, are 3 sons, Griffin, Garrett and Gavin Unruh, and in-laws, Paul and Gloria Unruh, of Cecil and Paula and James Spingola, of Canonsburg.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA., with Rev. Sue Petritis officiating.
