Gary Edwin Longdon

Gary Edwin Longdon passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 9, 2011 at the age of 50 in Cupertino California where he lived for the past 25 years. He was born April 1, 1961, the son of the late Glenn E. Longdon and the late Leta Harton Longdon of Washington, PA. Gary graduated in 1979 from Washington High School and served in the US Army. He was self-employed as a computer programmer. Surviving are two sons, Kristopher and Daniel Longdon of Cupertino Ca; step-mother Polly Longdon of Washington, PA; brothers Glenn (Skip) Longdon Jr. (Kim) of Washington, PA and Garth Longdon of Burke, VA; sisters Fran Huffman (Dave) of Avella, PA and Gail Paboucek (Jim) of Weirton, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday April 17, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA, with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please contribute to your local animal shelter.
