Violet Christine "Bunny" Keener

Violet “Bunny” Christine Keener, 72 of Washington died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her home. She was born June 14, 1942 in Washington, the daughter of the late James Prosser and Edith Hayes Prosser. Bunny was a homemaker, who enjoyed partying, especially with the younger crowd. Surviving are a husband, Donald Miller; six sons, Dave (Beth Ann) Miller of Washington, Kevin (Dee) Keener of Bloomingdale, OH, James (Tina) Keener of Amsterdam, OH, Kenneth Keener Jr. of Prosperity, Samuel (Marsha) Keener of Jolly Town, Ronald (Sharon) Keener of Washington; three daughters, Pearl (Robert) Wheeler of Avella, Brenda Couderc of Claysville, Kimberly (Bill) Keener of Claysville; one brother, James (Janet) Prosser of Washington; one sister, Betty Anderson of Washington; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Alva Keener; a grandson, William Miller; two sisters, Shirley Ringer and Loretta Dillie; brother in law, Donald Anderson; companion of 16 years, Bill Lindley; companion of 18 years, Kenneth Keener. Friends will be received Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family care of William G.
