Dolores Geraldine Lindley, 80, of Washington, died Thursday, September 2, 2010, in her residence.
She was born May 27, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of William and Lorena Horner Sloneker.
Mrs. Lindley was a homemaker who enjoyed golfing and dart ball.
She was a member of Friendship Community Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband, Harry Lindley, died November 29, 1986.
Surviving are four sons, Harry Lindley of Baltimore, Ohio, James Lindley of Claysville, William (Deborah) Lindley of Washington, and Richard Lindley of Claysville; two daughters, Dolores “Dolly” (Bob) Toland and Brenda Daniels, both of Claysville; two brothers, Robert Sloneker of Illinois and Sam Sloneker of Silver Spring, Florida; two sisters, Mona Haught of Washington and Linda Mossburg of Zanesville, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Deceased are three brothers, William “Buck” Sloneker, Jr., Thomas Sloneker and Richard Sloneker; and three sisters, Eunice Lindley, Harriet Santek and Betty Moore.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 4th, with Rev. Bruce Graff officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
