Joseph Montgomery Bromley, 55, of South Franklin Township, died
Monday, February 15, 2010, in his residence. He had been ill since July 2009.
He was born April 13, 1954, in Washington, a son of Joseph L. and Della L. Ferrell Bromley.
Mr. Bromley was a graduate of Washington High School. He was a conditioner at Universal Stainless and Alloy Products in Bridgeville.
Mr. Bromley was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed camping, gardening and going to the beach. He was a member of the Elks and a former member of Claysville Volunteer Fire Department.
He was Presbyterian.
On June 12, 1976, he married Rebecca “Becky” King, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Scott Joseph Bromley of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Bethany S. Bromley-Linn (Robert) of Clarion; two sisters, Mary Ann Bromley of Warren, Ohio, and Linda Lee Crowell (Allan) of DuPont, Washington; his mother-in-law, Mary F. King; sister-in-law, Susie King (Sam); three nephews, Donald R. King, Jr., (Michelle), Todd M. King (Amanda Pushey) and Matthew Crowell; a niece, Andrea Caputo (Robert); a great-niece, Trista King; and a great-nephew, Landen King.
Deceased is a nephew, Douglas Wherry.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 19th, in Church of Christ, 700 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Dr. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in West Alexander Cemetery.
