Sarah Gordon

Sarah (Sally) Jane Gordon died unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. She was born on August 15, 1934 in Vestaburg, PA to Hugh and Helen Chapman. Mrs. Gordon attended East Bethlehem High School. She married Frank E. Gordon Jr. on January 7, 1954. She was a kind-hearted loving spirit who greeted everyone with a smile. Mrs. Gordon enjoyed spending time with family and friends, teaching and painting ceramics, traveling, camping, boating and spending winter months with friends in Phoenix, AZ. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Church of the Covenant. Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Delores (Dolly) Chapman Lepo. She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Gordon, Jr., their three sons, Gary L. Gordon (Leigh), Frank H. Gordon (Lori), and Troy K. Gordon (Tina). They have 7 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends will be received Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
