Sharon Alice Jackson, 53, of Claysville, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on the family farm, on Monday, December 13, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on June 16, 1957, in Washington, a daughter of the late Everett and Leatha Mitchell Jackson.
Sharon worked at Washington County ARC for 15 years, and attended Clark School.
She was a member of the Taylorstown Christian Church.
Sharon enjoyed coloring, dancing, watching movies, doing crossword puzzles and cutting out pictures.
Surviving are her 3 brothers, Dennis (Kimberly) Jackson, of Claysville, James Jackson, of Claysville, and Jon (Barb) Jackson, of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her 2 foster sisters, Ida Mae Moore and Patsy Logston.
Friends will be received Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8, at the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301, where services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010, at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. John Ciampa, Sharon’s cousin, officiating.
Burial will follow at the Claysville Cemetery.
